Consultant Expectations

Responder Care Network

As part of our consultant network, you will be representing both yourself and Responder Care when supporting our clients. To ensure consistency, professionalism, and safety, all consultants are expected to meet the following requirements:

Professional Standards
  • Hold relevant professional qualifications and maintain current registrations/memberships with recognised professional bodies (e.g. AHPRA, ACA, PACFA, AHRI, SCA, or equivalent).

  • Adhere to the ethical standards and codes of conduct of your profession.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development relevant to your area of practice.

Business & Compliance Requirements
  • Hold a current ABN (Australian Business Number) before commencing work with clients.

  • Hold appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for your practice.

  • Provide a valid Working With Children Check and/or Police Check if requested, depending on client needs.

  • Maintain accurate records of services delivered in line with Responder Care policies.

Client Care & Service Delivery
  • Deliver services with professionalism, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

  • Protect client confidentiality at all times, in line with privacy legislation.

  • Report any concerns about client safety, wellbeing, or risks immediately to Responder Care management.

  • Respond flexibly to the needs of small business clients, who may be engaging wellbeing services for the first time.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Participate in periodic check-ins with Responder Care leadership to share insights and feedback.

  • Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas and identifying opportunities to enhance our services.

  • Represent the Responder Care brand positively in all client interactions.
