four ways we can help

Start with what your workplace needs today

You don’t need to diagnose the problem or find the right provider yourself. Tell us what’s happening and we’ll connect you with trusted, cost-effective support.

Business Care members receive priority coordination and preferred member rates across our support network.

Not sure which service you need?

Confidential support for your people. Practical support for your organisation.

SUPPORT CAN INCLUDE:

  • Confidential counselling for personal and workplace concerns

  • Telehealth and, where available, in-person appointments

  • An agreed number of sessions for eligible employees

  • Clear information explaining how employees access support

  • Guidance for managers supporting a team member

  • Additional support following a serious workplace incident

Availability, delivery arrangements and pricing are confirmed based on your workforce, location and required level of support.

A PRACTICAL MODEL FOR SMALLER ORGANISATIONS

We’ll help you choose an appropriate level of support, establish a straightforward referral pathway and coordinate the organisational relationship. Employees speak directly and confidentially with qualified practitioners.

ALREADY HAVE AN EAP?

We may also be able to complement your existing provider with specialist counselling, leadership support or incident response.

Give employees access to professional, confidential counselling when work or life becomes difficult without having to build or manage the service yourself.

Responder Care can arrange an Employee Assistance Program through our trusted specialist network, tailored to your organisation’s size, needs and budget.

Practical HR guidance for the decisions you can’t afford to get wrong.

HR SUPPORT CAN INCLUDE:

  • Day-to-day guidance on workplace and employee matters

  • Employment contracts, policies, handbooks and position descriptions

  • Recruitment, onboarding and employee induction

  • Awards, employment obligations and compliance

  • Performance management and difficult conversations

  • Conduct concerns, complaints, bullying and harassment

  • Restructures, redundancies, termination and offboarding

  • HR reviews, workplace training and longer-term people planning

Business Care includes initial guidance and coordination. Specialist HR advice and project work are quoted and charged separately at preferred member rates.

SUPPORT SHAPED AROUND YOUR WORKPLACE

HR support can be arranged for a single issue, a specific project or as an ongoing outsourced service. We’ll help clarify what you need, connect you with an appropriate specialist and coordinate the organisational relationship.

Scope, availability and pricing are confirmed before specialist HR work begins.

ALREADY HAVE INTERNAL HR SUPPORT?

Additional expertise or capacity can be arranged for complex matters, projects, workplace investigations or periods when your existing team needs extra support.

Managing people can become complicated quickly. Whether you are hiring someone, addressing performance concerns or dealing with a difficult workplace issue, timely specialist advice helps you respond confidently and fairly.

Responder Care can connect you with experienced HR specialists who understand smaller organisations and provide advice suited to your workplace, circumstances and budget.

Help to resolve workplace conflict and rebuild working relationships.

MEDIATION SUPPORT CAN INCLUDE:

  • An initial assessment of the situation, available options and whether mediation is appropriate

  • Confidential individual intake conversations

  • Preparation sessions for each participant

  • Independent facilitation between individuals or groups

  • Support with communication breakdowns and workplace tensions

  • Clarification of concerns, interests and possible solutions

  • Documented agreements or practical next steps where appropriate

Business Care includes initial guidance and coordination. Mediation and other conflict-resolution services are arranged and charged separately at preferred member rates.

AN IMPARTIAL AND TAILORED PROCESS

A qualified mediator creates a structured environment in which participants can be heard, better understand the issues and explore possible solutions. The mediator remains neutral and does not impose an outcome or decide who is right.

Processes may be conducted online or, where available, in person.

NOT SURE WHETHER MEDIATION IS APPROPRIATE?

Formal mediation is not the only option. Depending on the circumstances, a facilitated conversation, conflict coaching or support to rebuild team communication may be more appropriate. We’ll help clarify the situation and identify a sensible next step.

Scope, suitability, availability and pricing are confirmed before mediation or conflict-resolution services begin.

Unresolved conflict can consume leadership time, affect wellbeing and disrupt an entire team. Addressing it early can prevent positions from becoming entrenched and help people find a workable path forward.

Responder Care can arrange independent workplace mediation and conflict-resolution support through our trusted specialist network. Each engagement is shaped around the people, circumstances and needs of the organisation.

Clear, coordinated support when something serious happens at work.

CRITICAL INCIDENT SUPPORT CAN INCLUDE:

  • Crisis-care consultation for organisational leaders

  • An initial assessment of the situation, affected groups and support needs

  • Guidance on communicating with employees following the incident

  • Practical support for managers caring for affected team members

  • Confidential individual counselling in person or by telehealth

  • Individual welfare assessment and appropriate referral pathways

  • Group information and support sessions for affected teams

  • Coordination with HR, wellbeing and other relevant specialists

  • Follow-up support and return-to-work planning where required

Responder Care is not an emergency service. If there is an immediate threat to life or safety, call Triple Zero (000).

ONE CALM POINT OF COORDINATION

Every incident affects people differently. We’ll help determine what is needed immediately, what can wait and which professionals should be involved.

Support is tailored to the incident and may involve counsellors, HR advisers, wellbeing practitioners or other specialists working together through a coordinated response.

SUPPORT BEYOND THE IMMEDIATE EVENT

The impact of a serious event may emerge over days or weeks. Follow-up can include confidential counselling, leader check-ins, additional team support, return-to-work assistance and guidance on longer-term recovery.

Scope, availability and pricing are confirmed as early as practicable. Business Care includes initial guidance and coordination; specialist incident-response services are charged separately at preferred member rates.

A death, serious injury, traumatic event or other workplace crisis can leave leaders making difficult decisions while also supporting distressed employees.

Responder Care provides crisis-care consultation to help you understand the immediate priorities, plan an appropriate response and coordinate the professional support your people and organisation may need.
